![]() So, she started with setting me up with the platinum account, when I questioned it, she stated that when Im with them for 5 years the price will start to go down for being a loyal *****. She proceeded to tell me that nothing would change because I would be grandfathered in. I told her that I don't want to change anything. She told me that ****** and ADT broke off their partnership. Then she asked me how my equipment was, and I told her that my camera was out, so she stated that she would take care of that. Then sale representative stated that she was with Brinks which is in partnership with ADT, (Unknown to me) this is when she misrepresented herself/company. My husband answered it, then called me to the door. On February 10th two of Brinks sales representatives came to the door. If ************* has any further questions, she may contact Skyline directly at **************. Should ************* wish to terminate her agreement with Skyline before the end of the term, she will be held responsible for an Early Termination Fee. In accordance with the above, Skyline has determined that ************* will be held responsible for the terms and conditions of the agreement. Additionally, she affirmed he was satisfied with the monthly monitoring rate and the installation. As above, no questions, concerns, or issues were noted by ************* and again, she demonstrated full understanding of the Agreement terms. ************* advised that she did not have any existing equipment prior to installation.ģ) A recorded post-install survey which inquired as to much of the same as the pre-install survey, among other quality assurance measures. In each case, ************* answered that there were no further concerns.Ģ) Additionally, ************* acknowledged she understood that Skyline did not take over and was not affiliated with ADT or any other company. During this call, ************* confirmed a monthly rate of $65.99 for a sixty-month term (also indicated under Section 8 of the written Agreement) b) confirm her understanding of the Agreement terms and c) indicate if the sales representative made any statements that could be construed as questionable. Then I saw a withdrawal from my bank from Brinks for $70.12 on February 3, 2023. I have no intention of paying Skyline Security $2,643.20. I had no problems or complaints about *** and I did not appreciate being lied to. I called Brinks Januand asked to cancel the system and take it out because I wanted my *** system back. I had not received any bills from Brinks. I had no idea what had taken place and felt scammed. I talk to *** and they said that ****** did not take over their accounts and they were sorry to lose the account. I am 90 years old and I did not think too much of this event really until I received a refund from *** dated 12-31-22. ![]() He indicated they were ready to replace it and did take the *** hardware out and put in Brinks while he was here. He said they needed to upgrade the system with Brinks equipment now that they had acquired the account. He said he was here because they had acquired the account from ***. In the first week of December 2022 a man came to my home and said he was with Brinks Security.
